The master bedroom walls and chest of drawers are clad in reclaimed grey barb board providing outstanding aesthetics and acoustics while listen to music, a book, or the sounds of nature, while relaxing in a tub with a view of the Bay.  

Witness the Bay of Fundy rise and fall twice a day, up to 36 feet during the full moon. You are 130 feet above the high tide line and looking south at Apple River, Nova Scotia and The Raven Head Wilderness Preserve.

The two guest bedrooms feature Douglas mattresses and 500 thread count sheets atop built-in bed platforms that have monster drawers below and pockets for luggage. There is also a chest of drawers.

The glass-roofed sunroom has removable tempered glass panes so that the screens may be easily installed with the removal of the velcroed wood stops. It’s west facing and a great place to catch late-afternoon sun. The cedar walls and Douglas Fir timbers are unfinished allowing the terpenes to emanate from the wood. 

Foxes, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, marauding bands of crows, the warblers spring migration, hummingbirds, typical bird residents and all kinds of sea birds may be witnessed never leaving the decks.

The sauna building’s deck faces due east making for coffee sunrise or wild golden hour (illuminating the cliffs) an outstanding place to be.

The HUUM Hive wood stove can bring the sauna to 70’C in about an hour. The walls and ceiling are Old Growth Vertical Grain Western Red Cedar and the floor and benches are Eastern White Cedar. 

Great trails to the beach below and the forest where you are, are reached by walking out the front door. You are in the wilderness and the last man made sound you heard was likely your car door closing.
