Funday Wild is a new residence overlooking New Brunswick’s famed Bay of Fundy — purpose-built to open minds to low-footprint living.

 

This house is a machine for living — beginning with the kitchen, featuring an LG induction stove/range, Vevor under-counter refrigeration drawers, German knives, Italian coffee maker, Smeg juicer, Le Creuset cookware, Riedel crystal, Royal Doulton china and quality gadgets. Just outside, a 76,000BTU Crown Verity BBQ.

  • A RAIS Danish wood stove heats the home with industry-leading efficiency and unparalleled elegance. Electric heaters in each room offer fine-tuning.

  • Witness the Bay of Fundy rise and fall twice a day, up to 36 feet during the full moon. You are 130 feet above the high tide line and looking south at Apple River, Nova Scotia and The Raven Head Wilderness Preserve.

  • Foxes, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, marauding bands of crows, the warblers spring migration, hummingbirds, typical bird residents and all kinds of sea birds may be witnessed never leaving the decks.

  • Bring all your senses to nirvana in the cedar sauna with Finnish wood stove.

  • Great trails to the beach below and the forest where you are, are reached by walking out the front door. You are in the wilderness and the last man made sound you heard was likely your car door closing.

Nothing separates you from nature

To earn your supper you may wish to avail yourself of Fundy National Park (1 km away) and have your mind blown on the Coastal Trail. Hopewell Rocks is halfway to Moncton and can make a great day trip. There are kayak and e-bike rentals in town.
You are in the Fundy Biosphere (check out TVO doc" Striking Balance"). Just about anywhere you go along the coast is going to be rugged, wild, dangerous, and beautiful.

If you don't want to cook, there are a few great restaurants and a few good restaurants in Alma (2mins away). Moncton (2hr away) has a very dynamic food scene.

  • Browse our upcoming events to find the one that feels right for you. We host events year-round in all different locations and climates.

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.
